Allison Brooks Janney, an American actress from America. She is known for her performances on screen and stage. She's also been nominated for two Tony Awards and has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as a Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. After spending almost twenty years in the regional theatre as an actress, Allison Janney became a household actor playing White House press secretary C.J. Gregg on the well-known and critically acclaimed TV drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney was always a late to the party. She took a whole year longer than her Ohio classmates to get a driving license. Then she didn't meet her first date until she was enrolled in University. Since she started auditioning when she was 23 years old, she didn't perform in a film until the mid-30s. Faris has since left Mom in 2020 has chosen to be very selective in her role choices.
